I can remember back to a time when I was shooting an interior scene, trying to capture a subject watching television. We were using the native light from the T.V. and to say it was unflattering would have been an understatement. Given that each monitor has a different output and may not be calibrated, this can result in inconsistencies in your images. Luckily, the 1014RGB offers these special effects and is calibrated with a TLCI rating of 98+ and a CRI of 96+. This ensures that you're getting the best color rendition, thus improving the final result of your image. Take Your Lights Anywhere
Most of us would love the ability to control and manipulate our light beyond the confines of a studio space. One of the many difficulties of shooting outdoors is adjusting to the available light. Sometimes things work out just how we hoped, but oftentimes we are forced to deal with the hand we are dealt. A fading sun leaves you cranking up that ISO and ultimately impacting your final image. It starts with the provided carrying case. The transport case neatly stows both lights, stands, and power adaptors making traveling with the 1014 a breeze. This also makes for great storage for when the light is not in use and will help keep your gear room nice and organized.
The lights themselves are quite “light” coming in at only 5lbs each, with light stand included. Although not an apples to apples comparison, a c-stand alone can easily weigh between 10-20 lbs. This makes them a great alternative to traditional lighting setups.
