2023 Year in Review: Top ProMaster Products
As we’ve previously posted, 2023 was a great year for ProMaster! We introduced innovative new products to the market, like the Chronicle Tripod we launched on Kickstarter, and improved the creative process with a range of LED lights that work with the Light Attendant app.
Now we’re also taking a look back at some of the products that were most popular with our customers. From high performance memory cards to convenient USB-C chargeable batteries and quality filters, this list covers the top ProMaster products as chosen by you, our customers! Read on to see if your favorite is listed and if there’s something new to add to your lineup.
Rugged CINE Cards
Our Rugged CINE Cards are designed for high performance in any environment. With impressive read/write speeds of 300MB/s and 260MB/s and a UHS-II rating, these cards can keep up with anyone. The molded design is the result of a unique manufacturing process making the cards up to three times stronger than normal memory cards. The industrial grade of internal components means these cards can truly go wherever you go - withstanding high temperatures in your camera’s underwater housing and treks through freezing temperatures.
Studio Stands
Making sure you have the right gear for your studio setup is critical for getting your shot! When you have the right stands in place, you can focus on setting up the rest of your composition and enjoy creating images. The ProMaster Telescoping Background Stand Set is ideal for use in a studio or on location. The two-piece crossbar remains strong at maximum extension and makes the system small enough for easy transport. The Deluxe Light Stand is a medium duty light stand with a 9' maximum working height that’s perfect for most studio applications. It features a multi-position mounting stud for flexible mounting positions for your light. The quick release mounting stud lets you easily and quickly change the lights in your setup. Both of these stands ensure a versatile creative process.
Batteries with USB-C Charging
In 2023 we added more batteries to the lineup of our USB-C chargeable batteries. They are now available for the most popular camera model brands on the market: Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm and OM Systems. These batteries offer the convenience of built-in USB-C charging with a battery life comparable with manufacturer’s standards. Use the included USB-C to USB-A cord to charge the battery on a wall port, laptop, or external charger. Read what PetaPixel has to say about this innovative battery.
HGX Prime Filters
ProMaster HGX Prime filters are designed to offer exceptional performance and protection. Each HGX Prime filter is individually ground, polished, and coated during the manufacturing process. Worry less about having a clear shot with the Repellamax II anti-static barrier that resists dust, dirt, oil, water, and fingerprints. These filters are proven to be strong and durable, with an ultra-hardened glass and scratch-resistant coating. HGX Prime filters are available as Protection filters, UV filters, Circular Polarizers, VND (variable neutral density), and VND Extreme filters. XC-M Tripods
The XC-M Professional Tripods continue to be a bestseller for ProMaster, and with good reason. They feature a completely redesigned ball head made from machined, high-grade aluminum. The dual-action design uses separate knobs to adjust the ball tension and the panning control. The tension control knob has an integrated memory lock dial which allows users to set a repeatable tension stop. Each leg’s angle and length are independently adjustable, allowing the XC-M tripod to properly support a camera on uneven ground. The leg angle locks and twist locks have been reengineered for a better tactile experience and more positive locking. With a full line of accessories, the XC-M adapts to be the tripod you need.
