Reintroducing the ProMaster Jasper Satchels and Backpack

The Jasper line of bags from ProMaster is back and better than ever. Like the original, the Jasper 2.0 bags feature a beautiful design that blends into a wide variety of environments from the office to the outdoors and weddings to sporting events. The new Jasper 2.0 includes a range of design and feature improvements as well as a new rolltop backpack.

Expanding on the success of the original line, Jasper 2.0 improves on a number of design and functional elements. The Jasper Satchel is now available in three sizes, 4.0L, 6.8L, and 10L, and a new Medium Rolltop Backpack featuring a 7.5L main compartment and 9L roll top storage. The bags are returning in their original colors - classic black and popular green. Both the black and green fabric versions of the satchels have been treated for weather resistance. Thoughtfully designed accents like metal slide buckles on the front and low profile handles round out the look.

Jasper 2.0 Satchels

With three sizes to choose from, 4.0L, 6.8L, and 10L, there’s a multifunctional satchel bag to fit a wide range of gear. The small 4.0L is perfect for the essentials, like a small mirrorless camera, an extra lens, filters, and batteries. The medium 6.8L can fit a little more gear, adding in a bigger lens, small LED light, and a 14” Macbook Pro in the laptop pocket. The large 10L is the right pack for holding more gear on longer shoots and fits a 16” Macbook Pro in the laptop pocket. Depending on your needs, there’s a Jasper 2.0 Satchel for you.

All three sizes of the satchels feature a fast action top zipper, stretchy side pockets, clever storage compartments, and a waterproof bottom. Smooth metal slide buckles on the front straps are a quiet solution for accessing gear stored within. A rain cover stows away in a dedicated pocket in the base of the bag. Two tripod straps connect to anchor points on the bottom of the bag and use quick release buckles to attach and detach a tripod.

The main compartment has been reimagined for even more convenient storage. The removable insert in the main compartment has two new accessory pouches sewn on, great for filters and other flat items. Transfer the insert to another bag to create storage sections there and open up your satchel’s main compartment.

A wide strap with adjustable shoulder pad ensures the satchel is comfortable to wear. Take comfort one step further with the included crossbody stabilizer strap. Using the stabilizer strap will keep the satchel close to your body and allow you to rotate the bag from your side to your back, perfect for riding a bike or speed walking.

Jasper 2.0 Roll Top Backpack

The Jasper 2.0 Backpack is the first from ProMaster to feature the popular roll top design. You’re ready for anything with 7.5 liters of storage space in the main camera compartment and an additional 9 liters of expansion available with the roll top. The 7.5L main compartment includes a removable storage compartment for compartmentalized camera storage only when you need it. The rolltop style lends itself perfectly to the Jasper’s metal buckle design. Unroll and pack what you need to carry, then roll it down and latch it with the two metal slide hooks. The roll top design adapts to fit your journey.

We spent years designing and testing the shoulder harness for the most comfortable all-day experience, even with the heaviest gear packed inside. A sternum strap lets the user adjust the spacing of the shoulder straps for optimal comfort and the adjustable, padded waist strap is designed to hold the weight of the bag on your hips - the correct method for any backpack. An integrated carry handle at the top of the harness makes it easy to grab this bag out of a car trunk, overhead airline bin, or from under a seat.

Looking at the bottom of the backpack you’ll find tripod straps and anchors attached to the base for the most balanced and comfortable way to carry your tripod. Carrying your tripod on the bottom of your backpack centers the additional weight and lowers the center of gravity.
