Introducing the Ambler Tripod
Tripods, tripods, tripods. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again… they are one of the most important pieces of gear you can own. That being said, we understand that not everybody’s needs are the same. That’s where Ambler comes into play: a lightweight and extremely compact tripod designed for those who are always on the go.
What’s New?
If you’ve been following our journey over the past few years, you know that tripods have been a steady part of our new product lines — and for good reason. Everyone has a need, and certain tools are better suited for certain jobs. The Ambler was designed for creators who need something extremely portable, yet still offers excellent functionality. Whether you’re taking a selfie, setting up for a quick shot, or shooting tabletop content, the Ambler does it all.
Speed: Yes, this is the fastest tripod we’ve made. With a twist of the foot, you can extend the legs in one smooth motion. One twist, fully extended. It’s that simple. You can be set up in seconds. In addition to the legs, the center column can also be extended instantly by twisting the head and pulling it up.
Versatility: Most tripods are designed strictly for use with either a camera or a phone. The Ambler comes with an included screw on phone clamp, allowing you to capture candid moments with friends or social content with ease. You can easily convert back to the ¼-20 mount to use it with a small mirrorless setup when image quality is the priority. In addition to switching camera support, you can also remove the center column entirely, revealing a “selfie stick.” This allows you to use the center column as its own piece of gear and makes for an extremely discreet and low-profile piece of equipment.
Who’s it For?
If convenience and form factor are your biggest requirements, then the Ambler fits the bill. It’s that piece of gear you can take with you anywhere, and it never gets in the way. From getting the best angle for a skateboard video, shooting step by step cooking instructions, taking a group selfie, or capturing candid moments with friends, the Ambler helps make it happen.
Although it’s geared towards use with smartphones and lighter mirrorless setups, the Ambler is one of those tripods you can throw in your car or toss in the side pocket of your bag, and it’ll be there when you need it.
